The 9 Hazard Classes

  • Class 1: Explosives
  • Class 2: Gases (flammable, non-flammable, toxic)

  5. Note subsidiary hazards: Additional risks beyond primary class

Packaging Requirements

UN-Certified Packaging

  • Must use packaging tested and certified to UN standards

  • Safety training
  • Recurrent training (every 2-3 years)
